Today I Will Blog

Well I will be the first to admit that it has been a day or two. . .or 40 since we last blogged. Well today is a new day and a new leaf is being turned over. We're back in the game, back on the saddle, whatever you want to call it! Here are just a few things we've been up to lately. . .

REAL GAMES. . . Yes, we gave into the peer pressure from these two and bought season tickets! Here we are with one of the players after the season opener.

PIT CREW CHALLENGE. . .

I was challenged to participate in a "pit-crew challenge" and WON!! Me and my teammate rocked it and beat out a bunch of guys for the win in our high heels and all!

PARKING LOT FUN. . . let me explain

One day after work, we decided to go shopping at the Gateway. As we were walking back to our car in the underground parking lot, Zach was tossing the car keys in the air and seeing how high he could throw them. Well, one of the times he tossed them up in the air, they didn't come back down. "Uh-Oh," he says as he realizes that the keys got stuck on a ledge on the ceiling. This is a picture of him using someones random windshield scraper to try to get them down. I was just laughing so hard, I couldn't even help him. Needless to say, about twenty minutes later we got them down and were able to go home.

HANGING WITH OLD FRIENDS. . .

I got together with a few old college friends. . . always a good time with Hammy and Lisa.

WHITE MAN CAN JUMP. . . Zach plays on a rec basketball team with my brothers. I just had to post this picture of my brother, Kevin as he is about to block this dude. Those boys have major hops!

Life's A Beach

Last Weekend we got invited up to a party at Antelope Island. It had been so long since either of us had been there that we thought, "what the heck?" It turned out to be really fun, the sunset was amazing. Here are just a few pics from the evening.

Come Again?

Right after I got engaged to Zach, I had many people tell me that he looks like a younger Phil Mickelson. (For those of you who don't know, Phil is a professional golfer) Anyway, I just recently heard it AGAIN and I just don't see it. No offense, but Phil is not cute. Someone, anyone please back me up on this one!

Nickle Mania!!

Yup, I have to say I am a fan. We were looking for some good, cheap fun and that is exactly what we got! This place had some cool old skool games like skeeball, hot-shot, frogger, and more. The best part, it was only a nickel! It totally took me back to the days when I was like ten years old! The place is your typical arcade...dirty, smelly, lights everywhere, kids running, screaming.....but we didn't care.

I found myself watching an older women play this game and was amazed at how many tickets she had won. My game plan was to stay near by and as soon as she was done, I would take over. You have to compete with tons of kids at this place, they show no mercy! But it paid off, check out the flow of tickets coming out of this machine.

Me and the twins. Man, they grew up fast, I am not used to them being taller than me!

My personal favorite of the night. . cashing in our tickets for a freakin cool pen that shocks people when they try to use it. I have already put it to good use on a co-worker, hilarious!

Free Skis!

I won these skis at a work event I had to attend. . . not too shabby! Anyone want to go?

Music City!

I had to go to Nashville, Tennessee for a work conference. The days were filled with meetings and lectures, but the nights were filled with awesome food and parties that for once, were planned for us! It was nice to finally have someone else do an event that I could attend as a guest instead of the planner.

One of the nights, they took us to "Whoville Ice", an incredible place where everything was hand-carved from nearly two million pounds of ice! The building had to be kept cold to keep the ice from melting, so upon entering workers would hand each person these huge blue coats to keep warm.

The last night, we went to the heart of downtown Nashville where we had dinner, games, line dancing, and our own private concert.

Me with a few co-workers, we made a music video in front of this green screen. I think we did some Shania Twain song.
Like I said, we had our own private concert starring the LoCash Cowboys. These guys were so entertaining and have been asked to perform at Time Square on New Year's Eve! These two guys are brothers and the main singers. I filmed this video when they were just joking around, they were hilarious.
