Best way to exercise ever! Last Saturday, we went up to Soldier Hollow to
run walk (let's be honest here) the Dirty Dash, a 5k race up/down the mountain and through a bunch of muddy obstacles! The whole point was to get dirty and have fun! Done and Done!

This was the very start of the race. We all ran (actually me and zach sprinted. if you look closely, you can see me in the top left corner, about 5 people from the top, almost the front of the pack) up this hill full of mud, which was probably a bad idea because it was actually really exhausting.
We jumped over hay bales, crawled through muddy tubes, climbed walls, got water balloons thrown at us. If that doesn't sound like fun than what does?
The huge slide. This picture does not do this justice. It was actually really big and down a pretty steep hill
The final obstacle. . . a waist deep mud pool!
The FREEZING showers. Holy cow, the coldest shower I have ever taken
The race took us just over an hour to complete. Thanks to my dad who came up and watched Eli and took all these great photos! We will definitely be doing it next year.
