Road Trip!!

Last Friday, we left work a few hours early to pack up the car and head to Elko, Nevada with Kurt and Erika. I know what most of you are probably thinking. . .Elko? . . . Seriously? However I will have to say Elko is not that bad, especially when the reason why we went is to visit our awesome friends, Joey and Lynsie. The funniest part about the trip was that Joey had recently got called as Scout Master, and this just happened to be the weekend when the Scouts had their overnight camp trip, so inevitably, Zach and Kurt joined in on the fun.

I am so happy I gave Zach my camera to take pictures during their overnight excursion. Without it, we would have missed this picture of Kurt soaking wet after Zach had accidentally tipped the canoe over while Kurt was still in it. Oops!

Saturday consisted of tennis and a pick-up soccer game with the locals. Thanks Lynsie and Joey for letting us visit! We had a blast!

Utah Olympic Park

We had the chance to go up to Park City with some friends and experience the rides at Utah Olympic Park. It was a blast and we had such a good time pretending like we were real Olympic Bobsledders.

Yes, this bobsled ride is as real as it gets! After signing our life away and watching a video, we were given these wonderful helmets that make our heads look huge!

The highlight of the day was when the girls beat the boys down the track by .002 seconds! It must have been the awesome push that the guys gave us at the starting line. Thanks boys!
