Yep, still Pregnant!  I am 4 days PAST my due date. This kid is already showing who's boss around here.

Baby Showers

We have the most amazing family and friends!  Thanks to everyone who has put together and attended the baby showers for little babe Whitchurch.  I know a lot of time and effort goes into getting those together, we just feel so grateful to be surrounded by so many wonderful people!  You guys are great!

Erika, Molly, and Lynsie put on a par-tay!  I couldn't ask for better friends!

 Debi and my sister Megan totally outdid themselves.  From the decor to the games and gifts, it was an overall amazing day! 

  The Whitchurch family also knows how to do food! Unfortunately, I didn't get any pictures from that one, but we had a dang good time!

Best of State 2010

If you have never been to Holy Smokes, I highly recommend you go, the food is delish!

Our Little Babymoon

A few weeks back, Zach and I decided to take one last vacation before our little guys arrives.  We decided that we would go somewhere we had never been before, somewhere where we could be pampered and have our bed made for us everyday.  We ended up at the JW Marriott Resort in Palm Springs, California.

The day we flew out of Salt Lake was of course, cold and snowy.  We could not wait to get to where we could see blue skys and palm trees.  Once we landed, we headed over to the car rental, where I have originally booked our "economy car" rental for the next few days.  I let Zach wait in line and get that all sorted out while I sat down and read magazines.  He came back and told me that the lady at the desk mentioned that they were all out of their economy cars and was going to give us a complimentary upgrade.  We were stoked thinking it would be a sweet SUV or sports car!  NOPE!  Low and behold, we got a 2011 Sienna Mini-Van!  What a joke. I will probably have to eventually drive one of these suckers someday, but on my last trip of being kid free?

Since we could not check in to the hotel until later that day, we decided that we would go to the Palm Springs Aerial Tram that my parents had told us about.  We boarded one of the trams at the bottom of the valley and basically head straight up the mountain.  Once you arrive to the top you can hike, horseback ride, play in the snow or whatever.  There are restaurants to eat at up there too.

We were a bit surprised to see snow, but it's crazy because even though you came from the valley where it was 80 degrees, up here it was a good 30 degrees colder.

We grabbed some lunch, hiked around for a while, and made friends with a lot of Senior Citizens.

Next Stop: We checked into our hotel, the JW Marriott Resort.  It was beautiful!!  I had called the resort a few days prior just to confirm our reservation and this nice man answered the phone.  He asked why we were coming out to Palm Springs and I told him it was because we were having a baby soon.  Well, shortly after we arrived, we received a call from that same worker who wanted to give us two free rounds of golf and $75 bucks just because.  What a sweet surprise, he was sooo nice. 

Later that night, we decided to hit up the local Village Fest in downtown Palm Springs.  It's similar to Salt Lake's Farmer's Market but WAY better.  They close off an entire street and have numerous food vendors, entertainment, and arts and crafts.

The next few days were spent hanging around the Resort.  While Zach did this. . .

I relaxed by the pool, went to the spa and got a pregnancy massage & pedicure.  We got to eat at some really great restaurants and go shopping too. It was overall such a relaxing vacation.  I loved spending that quality time with my hubby.  Not once did we talk about work or argue over baby names.

Graduation Day!

We have been anticipating this day for a very long time! On May 7th, Zach graduated with a his degree in Accounting. I am so proud of Zach for sticking to it and finishing! Since we have been married, Zach has been going to school full time and working full time. He is amazing and I am grateful for all his hard work.

The happy graduate and the happy 8-month pregnant wife ;) It was an extra special day for our family as my brother also graduated with his MBA. Way to go Trev!

The Things We Do For Love. . .

The love of Soccer that is (mostly speaking of zach). Yes, we are that crazy and went to this!!

Date: March 31, 2010 Competition: International Friendly

Where: Rio Tinto Stadium; Sandy, Utah

Weather: 34 degrees; cold, steady snow fall

It had been snowing all day and the snow kept falling during the entire game! The field was totally covered in snow and the players were sliding everywhere! Good thing the US won 1-0.

We had to make sure Zach's boot and foot stayed dry and warm, so we wrapped it in a garbage bag!

**Ankle Update: Zach's ankle is healing perfectly! He will have to be on his crutches for at least 2 more weeks though. He is doing so good, such a trooper!

Zach's New Best Friend

Meet Mr. Boot. . .

He and Zach will be spending the next 8 weeks together, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

Zach has sprained his left ankle severely several times since he was 14 years old, thus resulting in torn ligaments and a loose ankel. Last summer it began hurting after standing for a short period of time and started swelling. His Dr. tried to treat it with physical therapy and orthodics. All went well for about 6 months then the pain and swelling returned after another bad sprain. So, we decided on a better option. . reconstructive ankle ligament surgery Zach has gotten used to getting around on his crutches. Good thing he still got his sense of humor! (as you can tell from this picture)
