Soccer Time

Last night RSL played their first game in their new stadium. Even though the game ended with a tie, Real Salt Lake still has playoff hopes. The grass was perfect, the fans were loud, and the view was spectacular. We loved every minute of it.

Highlights of the night included:
The goal scored by Olave, right in front of us to tie the game 1-1,

Being up close with injured RSL player Fabian Espindola,

Seeing Andy Williams, (I pointed him out for you)

and spending the night with this handsome fellow.

Lows of the night included:
The tie (of course), the traffic, and this nasty raw chicken sandwich that had for dinner (I stopped eating it after this bite, pray that I don't get sick).

On another soccer note, I played on a team this last summer and our final game was this week. We ended up playing in the championship game and lost, so we finished second. . . bummer! But is was still a lot of fun, maybe we can take the trophy home next season.

Stupid light blue team. We totally should have beat them. We would have too if it weren't for the dang goal post.

Gooooooooo Real Salt Lake!

Oh that chicken sanny makes me want to vomit! I can't believe that!

It looks like you had such a fun time at the game...and I must admit I don't know who any of those famous people are that you saw (I'm so out of touch!) Anyway, it looked like such a party! And that pic with you and Erika is gorgeous of both of you!
