So the biggest adventure of the day happened when we were driving home. As we got back to our car, we started loading our bikes on to our rack. (we have the kind of rack where you have to take off the front tire to mount the bike, then mount the tire separately) I must have been tired or something and didn't quite lock my tire in place. So, as we are driving home ON THE FREEWAY, all of the sudden Zach yells, "the tire!!" Sure enough, the tire fell off the roof of our car, which luckily Zach saw out of the rear view mirror just in time to pull over. He got out and walked about 1/4 mile back to see the poor tire just chillin' on the side of the freeway. This is him walking back with the tire. Let's just say Zach will be putting on bikes on the rack from now on.Another picture I just had to post. . . . this happened just a few days earlier when Zach could not unclip his shoe. As he was falling I hear, "uh oh!" He was a good sport to lay there as I was laughing, trying to get out my camera.
